Reversible Woven Placemats

Serve up a cold glass of milk and some fresh-baked cookies on these simple reversible woven-design placemats. This reversible technique makes one color more prominent on each side. It is not as complicated as it looks (check out the Free Patterns page for patterns to try out this technique)!

Materials:

The models were created by alternating rows of medium blue and light brown cotton crochet thread, size 10 (with two strands held together), and using a size D (3.25 mm) crochet hook.

Finished Sizes:

Placemat with Picot Border: 12" high x 18-1/2" wide
Placemat with Fringe: 12" high x 20-3/4" wide
